My friend in Halifax pointed SeeqPod out to me. It's a web2 music site... think Hype Machine with saved/shared playlists like Streampad, and add music recommendations to that. When you're listening to something you like, click "music", and get a page of listening recommendations that you can add to your playlist. There's no links back to the music blogs but I think that's okay -- usually it's the music I'm after, not what somebody else says about the music.

Seeqpod works really well, both the finding and the recomending. It helps us discover the music we like. I have a wall of cd's, but I'm getting tired of the suits suing kids and grandmothers for listening to music. Hey musicians get the hell out of the RIAA! It won't be long before I don't buy RIAA music, in fact, that maybe today. I don't have Neil Young's "Impeach the President" (Living With War) yet. Although I did listen to it several times on the web, Neil put it up for us to listen to.

BTW - Creative Commons fits nicely with the safe browser, Firefox. It's open, it doesn't have the massive virus, malware and spyware problems of Microsoft's Explorer and it's free as in beer and as in speech.
If I may be so bold, you should add a link to Mozilla, (the foundation that produces Firefox and other products) to protect your readers if they don't know about it, and to promote one more creative commons project.
Just sayin'.
